Located 97 kilometres north of Brisbane, it is part of the Maroochydore urban centre.

 Mooloolaba is bordered on the east by the Coral Sea, on the south by the Mooloolah River, on the north by Alexandra Headland, and to the west by Buderim.

Mooloolaba Harbour is the home to a large fleet of fishing vessels, pilot vessels that control shipping in Moreton Bay and the Port of Brisbane, as well as a popular location for recreational sailors.

 

The esplanade at Mooloolaba Beach is a centre for tourist activity and attractions.

How to Get There – Mooloolaba

        Mooloolaba is serviced by coach from Brisbane.  Visitors travelling via rail can find connections in Nambour, Woombye, and Landsborough Station.

Visitors can also travel to Mooloolaba via air through the Sunshine Coast Airport.  Mooloolaba is easily accessible by car.
