Temporary Passport Information!
Temporary passports, or emergency passports, can be obtained in the event of a life or death overseas emergency requiring travel to Turkey within 24 to 48 hours.
Qualifying emergencies include death, serious injury or death in your immediate family. Temporary passports are valid for a short period of time, typically for the duration of the trip. The traveller must obtain a standard passport for international travel after returning to the U.S.
