Mactan is an island near Cebu which is separated by Mactan Channel. There are two bridges that are connecting the island to Cebu. The Marcelo Fernan Bridge and Mandaue Bridge.

The island is administered as one city and a municipality. The city of Lapu Lapu and the Cordova municipality. It is a densely populated island.

You can find the second busiest airport in the Philippines there, it is the Mactan Cebu International Airport.
